Welcome to
Blue Ocean Sailing
The new year is here and it wont be
long until we are back out on the water. We are looking forward to a great 2009
and of course it is a Fastnet Year so we look forward to sharing
our plans with you for that. Needless to say, we will be participating again and
hoping for better weather than 2007 where we had to retire. Unlike a lot of
companies, we do continue to sail during the Winter and Spring, so just give us
a call if you would like to get out on the water before the season kicks off
properly in April/May.

Racing
The Prima 38 is renowned for her speed and grace and we are looking
forward to another year out on the water in Talisman. We did a fair amount of
corporate entertainment in 2008 and although we only managed a couple of races during Cowes Week
we still had a respectable place in
Round the Island and the LBCC. We are fine tuning our plans for 2009 at
the moment but will of course be doing the usual Cowes Week, LBCC, Round
the Island and some other smaller regattas. This is of course in

Corporate Sailing
Corporate day sails and regatta's have over recent years proved both successful
and popular for Blue Ocean Sailing. We love to welcome back
old customers but also new clients. With
a range of reasonably priced, tailor made packages which can be used to
reward staff, entertain customers or bring colleagues together, we have

Team Building
Sailing is a great and enjoyable way to bring people together and build
team spirit, it is also a great way to improve communication skills,
develop leadership qualities and identify the strengths and
weaknesses of individuals or groups. Our team building packages (unlike
many other companies) incorporate specific exercises designed to bring
out the best in people. Its a real hands on experience and a cost
effective and enjoyable way to encourage or reward a team. Much
more fun than sitting in a hotel meeting room!
