Cruising on a Prima 38 yacht

We recognise that not everyone out there just wants to go racing or do traditional cruising. That is why we are continuing this special packages area. In this section, we will give you some ideas but we are always open to new ones and are happy to tailor a package specifically to your requirements.

Introduction to sailing days/weekends/weeks

If you are a complete beginner but fancy trying your hand at sailing we would be delighted to take you out. Many people have already benefited from coming along on one of these days or weekends. We will take things entirely at your pace and you will be able to ask as many questions as you wish. We'll ensure you get involved in every aspect of the boat including helming, sail changes and winching, we'll cover basic navigation, seamanship and weather and really get you involved. These packages are ideally suited for groups of four but we do sometimes have individual places so if you are interested in finding out more, please drop us an email or give us a call.

Adventure Weekends

Get really involved from the moment you join Talisman on an adventure weekend with us. This could be a trip across the channel to France sailing through the night and participating in a watch system or perhaps down to Dorset or Sussex. This is a real hands on experience and unless really bad weather threatens it will be non stop action. Don't worry we will ensure there is a reward at the end whether its freshly baked croissants for breakfast or locally caught crab for supper all your hard work will pay off. Seasonal Specials

Throughout the year, whether its Easter, the height of summer, or autumn weekends we can put together a package to suit your requirements. From romantic evening sails with champagne through to firework spotting specials if you want to go out on the boat, we are happy to put together a package that suits.
